Welcome to Gadgetry.rent ("Gadgetry," "we," "us"), a device-rental service operated under the registered business Gamers Garage, GSTIN 27ANPPL2971H1ZK. By creating an account, placing an order, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service. Gadgetry rents laptops, desktops, and related devices to customers in Mumbai on a rental basis. You receive the right to use the device for the rental term; ownership remains with Gadgetry at all times.
2. Eligibility & verification. You must be 18 or older and complete identity verification (Aadhaar-based KYC via a licensed verification provider) before an order is fulfilled. Our delivery staff also verify your identity and address in person at handover. We may refuse or cancel an order if verification fails.
3. No security deposit. We do not collect a security deposit. Risk is managed through identity verification and in-person handover, not a held deposit.
4. Rental plans & pricing. Plans are short-term (daily/weekly) or monthly. Prices shown include applicable taxes where stated; GST (CGST 9% + SGST 9%) applies and is itemised at checkout. A one-time delivery charge and a monthly non-refundable Protection Fee also apply (see the Damage Coverage Policy).
5. Billing. Monthly rentals are billed monthly in advance through a recurring mandate (UPI Autopay / card / e-NACH) set up at checkout. Short-term rentals are charged as a one-time payment. You authorise us to charge the applicable amounts via our payment partner (PayU) for the rental term.
6. Delivery & use. Devices are delivered in person within Mumbai. You agree to use the device lawfully and with reasonable care, not to tamper with it, attempt repairs, install unauthorised modifications, or part with possession. The device must be returned in the condition delivered, allowing for normal wear.
7. Returns, extension & early termination. You may extend or schedule a return through your account. On early return, you pay for the whole months used (no proration or refund of the current month); there is no early-exit penalty. See the Return and Refund policies.
8. Damage, loss & fees. You are responsible for physical damage, liquid damage, loss, or theft of the device, and for late or non-return. Such charges are billed via your mandate or a payment link. See the Damage Coverage Policy.
9. Suspension. We may suspend or recover a device for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or suspected fraud.
10. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the rental amounts paid by you for the affected device. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of your data — you are responsible for backing up your own data before returning a device.
11. Changes. We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance. 12. Governing law. These Terms are governed by Indian law, subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
